The candidate is responsible for developing, improving and scaling processes for the production of therapeutic proteins. As a part of the team, the candidate will be responsible for routine lab operations as well as designing and analyzing experimental data. The candidate will also be tasked with troubleshooting operational and process challenges, and presenting at internal and external meetings. The candidate will also contribute to writing development report summarizing and interpreting results, writing technology transfer document such as process flow diagram and process description. It is expected that the candidate will also maintain lab equipment that is used to support lab operations. The use of a lab notebook and the collection of detailed and accurate records are required. Required skills: Aseptic techniques, cell culture and/or microbial fermentation experience, chemical and biochemical engineering principles, hands on experience operating bioreactors and scaling processes from bench to production. The use of statistical data analysis and design of experiment is required. Excellent team work and communication skills are also considered a must. Experience: Relevant experience of 8-10 years with a Bachelor's degree or 5-8 years with Master's degree Education: Bachelor or Master of Science in chemical/biochemical engineering or related science discipline.
