Reporting to the Sr Manager of Global Business Applications, the program manager will work with the System Implementation partner and will be responsible for project planning, staffing, budgeting, scope management and control, and issue / risk resolution throughout the project lifecycle. Developing change management plan, developing and implementing training plan are additional responsibilities. The program manager will collaborate and work closely with senior executives, managers and subject matter experts. This role requires excellent communication, organization, planning, analytical and technology skills with experience in all phases of the SAP program life cycle. Job Scope: Manage a SAP ECC 6.0 implementation for SunEdison. Work closely with SunEdison and MEMC business owners and executives to refine and obtain approval for project scope, implementation sequencing and rollout roadmap. Develop RFP, manage implementation partner selection and jointly develop implementation project plan. Identify project resource requirements, organize and mobilize project teams, develop project work plans, manage day-to-day operational aspects, mitigate risk, control budget/costs, and regularly communicate project status to the project team, leadership team, and steering committee. · During and Post-Implementation, evaluate SAP solution alternatives as they relate to project requirements and provide architectural / technical thought leadership during feasibility study, requirements gathering and high-level solution design. Knowledge: · Superior project management skills including project estimation, resource planning, system and process documentation. · Superior knowledge and experience in SAP ECC 6.0. Education/Experience: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration, or similar. Or equivalent work experience. Master degree and/or advanced certification in project management preferred. · Minimum 13 years progressive responsibility within Information Technology specifically with SAP, including 8+ years as a Project Manager of complex projects involving resources from multiple functions or business units in a global environment. · Minimum of 3 SAP implementation management experience in large global environments using a structured methodology. · Contract management and relationship management experience in a mutli-vendor, global delivery model environment. · Excellent verbal and written communications with ability to express / translate business needs into technology assisted solutions.
